As our students leave AKS and take their first steps into the world of work, our promise is to continue supporting them by offering guidance, encouragement, and career mentoring long after they’ve left the classrooms and corridors of AKS Lytham.
This is where you come in. We’ve all been on this journey before, and most of us needed advice or guidance along the way.
We’re building a diverse pool of mentors from across our heritage schools, representing a wide range of industries, backgrounds, and career paths so that our new Alumni have someone relatable to turn to when they need support.
There are so many valuable ways you can help, including and not limited to:
Offering one-off career advice or answering industry specific questions
Providing CV or portfolio feedback
Sharing university, apprenticeship, or early career insights
Helping students grow their confidence through informal conversations
Opening doors through networking or introductions
Providing work experience or internships
