Old Arnoldian's Dinner 2025
Looking back at the Old Arnoldian Reunion Dinner, held on Saturday, 20th September 2025 at AKS Lytham - what a truly special evening it was!
We were delighted to welcome over 100 alumni, former staff, and friends of Arnold School back to celebrate our shared history and lasting connections. Guests enjoyed an evening of conversation, memories, and community spirit, honouring the legacy of Arnold School and the friendships that continue to thrive.

PEAKS Heritage Day
PEAKS is the AKS Lytham commitment to developing confident, capable, and resilient young people who can thrive in an ever-changing world.
Students explored self-leadership on residentials and through the Commando Experience, stepping into leadership roles as tour guides, reporters, and club leaders. Wellbeing remained central to school life with VENT, peer support, and reflection sessions. In classrooms and beyond, students debated, podcasted, led lectures, launched inquiry projects, and developed digital skills.
Many of our amazing alumni community supported the PEAKS Heritage Day to celebrate the history and stories of our heritage schools.
Annual Boxing Day Rugby
We are delighted to announce that we raised £5,039 on the day, which has been match-funded to £10,078 for the Gamechanger Campaign! Thanks to everyone who supported.
The Boxing Day rugby fixture is a long tradition between Old Arnoldian's (Arnold School Alumni) and Old Lidunians (King Edward VII Alumni). Each year, the players come out in force to represent our heritage schools.

OAKS Alumni vs AKS Football
Our annual OAKS Alumni vs AKS First XI sees the old boys take on the current AKS students in a football fixture to prove if the alumni still have it.
It is a fantastic event to reconnect with old school friends and have some fun back out on the football pitch.
Headmaster's Cricket
On the 22nd June 2025, the annual Headmaster's Cricket event took place at AKS Lytham. This tradition saw OAKS Alumni return to the AKS grounds to take on the AKS staff and students at Cricket. The OAKS Alumni consists of Arnold, King Edward's, Queen Mary's, KEQMS and AKS Alumni.
It was a wonderful occasion, and despite the weather attempting to put play on hold, the match continued and the OAKS Alumni team were victorious.
The final score was a commanding win of 133 OAKS Alumni to 83 AKS.
