We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2026 IDPE Development Awards in the Ambition & Progress category.
The shortlisting recognises the progress made since the AKS Lytham Foundation was established in 2023. In just three years, the Foundation has secured more than £458,000 in donations and pledged support, helping to fund the first transformational bursaries in the school's history and widen access to an AKS education.
The award submission also highlighted the continued growth of alumni engagement through the OAKS Alumni network, including the expansion of the Beyond AKS mentor programme and increased opportunities for students to benefit from careers guidance, mentoring and professional networking.
This recognition is a testament to the generosity and support of our alumni, parents, governors, staff, donors and wider school community who have helped turn an ambitious vision into a programme that is already changing lives.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the AKS Lytham Foundation on its journey so far.
